Final Informative Report Reflection
Reflection
Writing the informative report was
honestly and surprisingly challenging. With what I have learned in class and
with all the specific guidelines I was told to follow, things got a little
confusing at first, but, now I feel good that I finally learned the right way
to write an informative paper. Honestly, I think I could have put much more
effort in writing a paper, but the last two weeks have been a disaster as there
were a family emergency. Although I do not enjoy writing an essay, I am a
little more confident now to write an informative paper, as I was taught the
basic rules and guidelines I can follow.
In my paper, I used the three
paragraphs introduction: one for the hook and the thesis, one for the
definitions and key terms, and one for the background. I found this really
effective, as not only it is easier for the reader to distinguish the thesis
and the parts in the introduction, it made my essay more organized the
professional. I also used the heading in the body of my essay, as I really
think that headings makes everything so precise and clear. It helps arrange the
essay more, as well as laying out the main points which the reader can easily
identify because of the headings.
Overall, writing an informative
paper was definitely not easy. It was challenging. It took me a combination of
time, effort and stress to finalize the paper, and I really hope the Professor
enjoys it.
